You might say I started fishing at a very early age. So early, in fact, I wasn't even old enough to stand
on my own two feet! Dad used to tell me he that he held me in one hand and a trout rod in other as he plied the Musconetcong
River for springtime trout. Thirty six years later I'm still probing those same rivers and bays every chance I
get.
Speaking of dad, one of the many lessons he taught me was that fish are too valuable to be caught only once,
and letting a big lunker go affords somebody else the joy and excitement of catching him. As a result I fish
with barbless hooks, don't use treble hooks, and release every fish I catch.
Currently, my involvement in fishing includes regularly contributing articles to various publications and
I'm a Field Editor for The New Jersey Angler Magazine. I also teach nighttime fishing classes at Brookdale College, Middlesex Community
College and Ocean Twp Recreation.
Hope to see you in the classroom or on the water!
